Our Principal
Dr. Chandrasekhara Rao Baru brings over 18 years of dedicated experience in pharmacy education and research to his leadership role. As Principal and Professor of Pharmaceutics at Chilkur Balaji College of Pharmacy, his career is distinguished by a commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and value-driven mentorship.
Dr. Baru earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, focusing on enhancing drug dissolution and bioavailability. He holds an M.Pharm and B.Pharm from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, and a Diploma in Pharmacy from Pavan College of Pharmacy, Karnataka. His scholarly contributions include over 20 publications in national and international journals, with expertise spanning nanoemulsion drug delivery systems, solid dispersions, and stability kinetics.
A life member of APTI, Dr. Baru has presented numerous papers at esteemed conferences, chaired sessions, and organized workshops on clinical research and educational reforms. His achievements reflect a passion for advancing pharmaceutical sciences and nurturing future professionals.
