Water conservation facilities

At Chilkur Balaji College of Pharmacy, we are committed to sustainable practices and environmental responsibility. As part of our green initiatives, we have implemented several water conservation facilities across our campus to minimise water wastage and promote efficient usage.

Key Water Conservation Measures:

• Rainwater Harvesting Systems
  We have installed rainwater harvesting structures to collect and store rainwater. This water is utilized for gardening, cleaning, and other non-potable purposes, reducing dependency on groundwater.

• Water Recycling and Reuse
  Our water treatment systems recycle greywater from sinks and wash areas, which is then repurposed for landscaping and flushing systems.

• Low-Flow Fixtures
  All restrooms and wash areas are equipped with low-flow taps, dual-flush toilets, and sensor-based water fixtures to reduce water consumption.

• Drip Irrigation for Gardens
  Our campus gardens are maintained using drip irrigation techniques that ensure minimal water loss and efficient delivery directly to plant roots.

• Awareness and Training Programs
  Regular awareness campaigns and training sessions are conducted to educate students, staff, and visitors about the importance of water conservation and responsible water use.
